Feeding Therapy

Navigating the Feeding Journey

A specially trained Speech-Language Pathologist or Occupational Therapist provides therapy designed to increase the variety of accepted foods, food textures, and drinks with a desire to improve safe motor and swallowing skills for oral eating and drinking, including utensil use, as well as improve overall nutrition and hydration. We frequently work with newborns and infants and their families to assist with breast and bottle-feeding, introduction of solid foods, and improving feeding safety and efficiency.
